AUDIT
Overview

Investigative audit on a supplier or manufacturer may be requested by any party. Preferably the requested party collate all the relevant information required for the investigative audit.

The audit shall focus on the affected processes and come out with a conclusion whether the supplier/ manufacturer has identified the root cause (s) and implemented appropriate corrective action

These information shall be made available before an investigative audit can be conducted.

At minimum, the information stated below is needed.

Condition of product, nature of usage, handling and installation

Failed component or material is known
-
Statistics of failure, is it a wide spread failure or confined to certain places only
-
Information from the supplier on the most probable root causes as well as the proposed correction and corrective actions
